ASUU; FG plans to explore other options if strike persist

Chris Nguge, the minister of labor and employment, has revealed that the federal government will have to explore other options within the labor law should the disagreement between ASUU and the government persist.

The minister further disclosed that the federal government has met six, out of ASUU’s nine demands.

Members of the academic staff union of university (ASUU) and representatives of the federal government are expected to meet again this week to resolve the lingering crisis.
